The worst GPS I have ever owned but it sure does look nice!

Pretty Good
Just spent ten days touring Nova Scotia using the Avec S-1 GPS. On the whole I was very pleased with it's performance. It navigated me flawlessly through and around Quebec, Montreal and Ottawa. Montreal would have been a nightmare without it as it was raining hard and getting dark.

Really worth it so far!!
We got this unit as an emergency to replace a broken Roadmate 760 unit. Imagine that the Roadmate ceased to function the morning that we were leaving for a 600 mile trip to the New England area. Where is an updated map???
Have owned for 2 years - often takes me out of the way. Wants to take me off of interstate onto secondary road, then back on interstate again regardless of fast route/short route setting.
