A few months ago, I finally just had to give in. That's right, as a fanatical book reader who once thought "I'll never get an e-reader," I finally made the leap of faith. A lot of people like having a "real" book in their hands, and I have to admit being one of them. How would the transformation to... Read full review »

With the Kindle Fire coming out (and to my front door) next week, I figured now was a good time to talk about one of my favorite possessions, my Amazon Kindle 3 Wi-Fi eBook Reader.

Last November, my wife bought me the Amazon Kindle 3 as a birthday gift. I had been looking into eBook... Read full review »

My wife bought me the Kindle 3G for my 44th birthday.  I was excited after reading all the new features.  When it arrived a few days later, it was ready to rock, right out of the box.

The screen is slightly smaller than your average paperback novel.  The device weighs very... Read full review »

I had always been skeptical about buying an eReader, thinking I would always prefer to hold an actual book in my hands. However this view has been drastically changed after recently buying the Amazon Kindle eReader. My first impression was of an Ipad/Tablet copycat, but the Kindle is so much more... I am a huge book worm but it took me awhile to come around to the idea of an e-reader.  I'm the type of person that likes to have the actual book in my hands when I'm reader so the thought of an e-reader did not appeal to me.  Now that being said, I knew I had to grow with the time... So, I always thought eBooks were a crazy fad that would go the way of the Atari, or HD DVDs, but my wife wanted one, and well that is how I went about getting one.  First off, the Kindle beats all of the other e-readers hands down.  They don't have the selections or are going out of... To be honest. I am closer to a book addict than just a book lover. My dwelling has bookcases everywhere and there is a rolling bin under the bed to hold books that I have no room to shelve. Being something of a traditionalist, I resisted the idea of an e-reader in the beginning but the Kindle 3... Read full review »
